Dr. Castello has been a private practice optometrist for 10 years specializing in all aspects of primary eye health care, including pre and post-operative management of Lasik patients. Tricia Knorr, Center Director

Ophthalmic Technician and Licensed Aesthetician Knorr began her career as a receptionist and Ophthalmic Technician for a busy Ophthalmology practice in 1992. Demonstrating a high aptitude for the field, she soon began assisting surgical procedures ranging from cataract surgery and refractive procedures to full face lifts and other cosmetic procedures. Knorr pursued her aesthetician licensure to further her career in aesthetics, and opened her own practice in Melbourne, Florida, specializing in pre and post operative Cosmetic Patients. Knorr’s experience in both Ophthalmology and Spa Administration paved the way for her to become Center Director at Viso Lasik Medspas in Palm Beach.

Melody Du Plooy, Concierge

With a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Public Administration and Policy in hand, Du Plooy continued her studies at the University of Cape Town, South Africa and obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Organization and Management. She joined the Viso Lasik Medspas team, then known as Palm Beach Laser Eye Institute in 2007. Du Plooy effectively manages LASIK and Medspa sales, as well as fulfills patient coordinator and concierge duties.
