Dr. Srini Mutyala is a board certified ophthalmologist and LASIK eye surgery specialist, who has practiced in South Florida since 1998. Dr. Mutyala has performed more than 20,000 successful LASIK procedures.
Dr. Mutyala, after attending a prestigious accelerated medical program at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, completed his residency in ophthalmology at the world renowned Mayo Clinic. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Marguerite McDonald, who performed the world’s first vision correction surgery, selected Dr. Mutyala for a prominent fellowship in laser and cornea surgery. As a Bausch & Lomb, VISX, Alcon LadarVision, Summit, and NIDEK EC-5000 laser certified surgeon, Dr. Mutyala actively participates in clinical research for advanced laser procedures.
Recognized as one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America each year from 2002 to 2007, Dr. Mutyala’s LASIK research appears in medical journals and is regularly cited at national and international eye conferences.
